The girls were strong all the way through. The team is still getting over some jet lag, but it was important for them to get back to the start line and test themselves against a strong field.

I had 16-18 students in that class every time I taught it. Besides basketball, I taught officiating for football, softball, track and field, volleyball and other sports.

It is very special in this community to be selected by my fellow coaches. We have some great coaches here, and that is obvious. But it is absolutely a reflection on our players and my staff. No question.

For her to ski eighth is really overachieving for her. What she did was phenomenal.

It is recognition for a job well done thus far. And that is the key, thus far.

There's a big pool of students all over the state of Indiana. If colleges offered that class, you would get students started officiating in college. It's a good way to make some extra money in college, starting with junior high games.

They had a chance to disintegrate, playing the teams that they played. You commend those kids for that, and you commend Jeff and his staff for holding it together because the problems they've had, it's the kind of thing that tears a team apart.

This is a team that believes in itself. We know we have two conference games on the road against teams that are capable of beating us. The players are keenly aware of that and have a very healthy respect for their opponents.

Adam and Tom have played very well, probably above what we expected. They?ve been solid.
